Hi
I'm thinking of building up a bike from a frame, and I'm pretty certain on everything except the headset. I was looking at this frame on ebay, and it says that it comes with the headset. It appears to me that there is no top cap, as seen on the picture below. Am I missing something, or is that missing?

Thanks
Rob

it uses an internal/zerostack headset so you cant see the cups."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Forgive me if I misunderstood, but at the right hand side is says 'top cap and bolt'! It is screwed into the star nut.0

Also the top cap is not always part of a headset. as you can use other things."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thanks for the answers guys, and sorry for the stupid questions, but I have one more. Effectively, I would need a top cap, and a bolt?
Sorry about this, it just confuses me a lot!!0 -
Can you provide the ebay link? In the top pic I see no evidence of any headset, though I assume he will put the bits in a bag.
The bottom pic shows a headset with the top cap and bolt!0 -
paul if you look in the top pic you will see a zip tie hold in all the parts in place. As it is internal you will not see them.
Bottom pic is parktools

maybe, it depends if you want to use one or another means of preloading the headset. If your fork has a star nut fitted then maybe you may need to buy a top cap an bolt.
if not then you can use something else."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
