I checked my emails this morning and I had one from CRC saying my order had not been processed as my card had been declined by the bank. 1 Major problem here, I have not ordered any bike stuff for about a month and the last time I shopped with CRC was in December and I have received the goods!!!! I phoned the number on the email and it eventually went through to Mail Box 6, I did not leave a message. Something not quite right me thinks.

    And your bank as well.

I have forwarded the email on to CRC fortunately the card they tried to use is an old account which is closed so there shouldn't be any problems with that. I have checked my online account with CRC and there doesn't appear to be any outstanding orders so who ever has tried to use it must have set up a new account.

First of all copy the e-mail you have recieved
and call CRC forward a copy onto them and then call the police.

Obviouse someones Hacked into the CRC web site.
My advice would be for everyone who have paid on line to keep
an eye out on there bank statements.

    Hi all,

Just so you are all aware, CRC has not been hacked or compromised in any way!

Viper77 can you email me at Andy@chainreactioncycles.com with details and I can look into this for you?

That's not in the least bit obvious.

If you get a phishing scam email do you assume someone's hacked your bank? That's what this looks like.

Anyway, as you can see CRC are on the case.
