I've managed to find someone who'd do a frame swap with me.....my red carrera was far too big for me....

I'm going from this...

(OK, this is setup as I bought it (June 07), and most it was changed by now.....)

To this...

I've got a small stockpile of 8speed cassettes and chains, but I quite fancy whacking some Veloce shifters I have in my shed on, so I'm going to attempt a "Shimergo" system. I also need to get my mudguards fitted and I need someone to get the dodgy Octalink BB out for me.....(I've got loads of BB tools but not one for octalink :?)

I missed having a project to work on...... :D [/img]

Definite improvement on the saddle and fork.
    FCN 2-4.

    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."

    Piece of crap aren't they?

I don't use the drops on my commute though, and my only requirement was a flat transition between bars and hoods, they were rejects from a previous bike build, and I didn't fancy spending more money on something that wasn't really necessary......

    I'll let you off then.

I managed one day of commuting on ergo bars. Could barely write when I got to uni as my hands hurt so much, so I fitted Compact Omegas the next day.
