Warning stickers- oh dear!

I've had my mtb for about 6 years now and only noticed today that on the sticker under the cables on the top tube, in addition to saying 'always wear a helmet', it also says' danger do not ride at night'.
What can you say? There is a person somewhere whos job it is to determine that riding at night is dangerous and should be completely avoided. I know somewhere litigation will come into it, but for crying out loud!!
You could say it's something and nothing, but it reflects, to me at least, how we are being contolled/ manipulated/ shepherded these days.
Right that's my gripe over with. I'm off to go and think for myself and maybe do something risky so I feel alive

Just to protect them from being sued by some moron who claims they should have integrated lights.0

Yep, probably. They'll prob get sued anyway by the moron that said they couldn't see the warning cos it was hidden beneath the cables :roll:Why not? My bikes.

To be on the safe side maybe they should have said ...
Do not ride at any time or place or in any circumstances where risk might be incurred !

I love it when on some clothing labels it warns
KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE.
It's always that particular warning, fire must feel it's being descriminated against. I've never read on a label
DON'T WALK ON FROZEN PONDS.
LOOK BOTH WAYS WHEN CROSSING THE ROAD.
DON'T CALL THE HARDEST BLOKE IN THE PUB A NONCE.
So I feel sorry for fire, it's as if clothing manufacturers have it in for it.Tail end Charlie

My winter racer has a tiny label on the stem. In letters you would need a magnifying glass to read it says, "Not suitable for downhill racing".
Are they trying to kill me? :?FCN = 4.5 Roadie, hairy legs, half a beard (say goateeeeee!)0 -
