'06 Trek Fuel 90 frame?

Hi
I have been offered a good deal on a 06 trek fuel frame.
How would this do for a XC frame that could do the occasional all day ride? It seems like a good solid frame, but are there any big problems with it?
I was thinking of putting a 100mm reba on it. Is this a good idea, or are there better forks for the money?
Thanks
Rob

Decent frame, if somewhat flexy, and a good fork.
But I wouldn't buy without giving it a thorough check over.0 -
Thanks for the quick reply. Are there any specific "problem areas" that I should check on, or is it just a thorough check everywhere that is needed?

Pivots and shock linkages mainly, but of course, check the rest!0

Check the welds on the chainstays. Mine cracked at the bottom bracket end. LBS said they'd seen loads like it.
I've got a 100mm 2007 Reba on mine and it suits it perfectly. Reba forks not as cheap as they once were though. Mine was £200 new. Think you'd be lucky to get one under 300 now (not sure though)0
