Rear Wheel vibrating under braking??

Hi,
Serious back wheel shuddering when I brake. It wasn't happening yesterday but it is today, and I only nipped round the corner to a friends house! I've got Avid ultimates that I've never had any problems with before, but I have just fitted some spesh nimbus road tyres. I've done about 60miles with no problems on those so what am I doing wrong?
Advice always appreciated...

Check the caliper bolts are tight (I had the same thing after I removed my rear brake, hadn't tightened them sufficiently).
If that's not it check the wheel is in the drop outs straight and the disk ahsn't been bent. Also worth taking the pads out and putting them back in to ensure they are in correctly. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
Check everything is tight.
The wheel is tight in the frame
There is no play in the hub, cones are tight
The disc rotor is tight against the hub
The disc calliper is tight against the frame
If all that seems sound then spoke tension?0 -
Thanks very much - I shall have a go and let you know!0
