Should I report this?

On my way into work last night a car full of numpties went past, one of them threw something that hit me in the back. I got their number plate, although a bit unsure about one of the letters, and the make and model of car.

Is it worth reporting this to the police? It actually happened outside the local police station funnily enough. The police might just see it as a bit pointless as nobody was hurt, but if the numpties make a habit of this someone could get knocked off their bike.

    Definitely report it.

A similar thing happened to me a couple of years ago before we moved out here, the police visited them and gave them a warning. The policeman dealing with it told me how shocked they looked when he turned up, so, hopefully the police turning up hours after they thought they got away with it will stop them doing it again.

Not only that, the police will take note of it and if the numpties do anything else it will all add up.
  • Stopped off at the police station on the way home and reported it. Was talking to a workmate who gets abuse from groups of young lads in cars when he cycles in. Seems there's a lot of it about around where I live.
