The Rock Lobster is a nice bike its been around for years and hasnt changed as far as I can tell a good example of if it aint broke dont fix it

I was looking at getting one of those commi 5.5s but the colour was giving me headaches so I went for the 4.2 in a much more gentle black

    I agree it`s a bit of a marmite colour........but I love it.

    Thats the main thing

My mate has just had his bike resprayed and we reckon he was hammered when he chose the colour it is luminous yellow you could use it as a lighthouse to warn ships off the rocks. On its first outing we waited till he went to the bog and all got handfuls of mud and smeared it all over the frame, his face when he came back and saw his pride and joy was the funniest thing I have seen in years

Unfortunately it's a nay on the seat from me.

The rest of the bike is very nice though and I actually think the green is pretty striking!

    Seat looks good IMO.

How are you finding the stem? Just treated my Lobster to a 90mm Thomson X4 to replace the 70mm Race Face. Much nicer riding position - not so cramped.
