Hope BB and SRAM Compatibility

Hi,
I have just gone to replace my SRAM BB with a Hope road ceramic unit, however when installing the crankset the non-drive side was very loose in the bearing, after disassembling and measuring things the Hope unit is larger on the non-drive side 23.97mm vs 21.88mm on the SRAM unit. Does anyone know if the Hope unit should be compatible or do I need to purchase another SRAM BB?
Thanks

AFAIK they aren't directly compatible but you can get a washer than will get Shimano/Hope BBs to work with SRAM/Truvativ cranks
I think it's these:

but check first as I've not done it myself so take no responsibility for numptyness whatsoever...Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
SRAM / Truvativ GXP cranks are not compatible with Hollowtech II/MegaExo as you have just found out - the BB spindle is 'stepped' - it fits on one side, but not the other so confused as to why Hope suggest you need a pair of adaptor bushesMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
