Have been looking for some good shoes at a good price, while ago Specialized Pro were being sold off cheap a few places but looks like I've missed that boat. Wiggle have the Mavic Avenir a bit cheaper at the moment... anyone bought anything good, won't break £100, ideally wanted the Spesh Pros. Any good deal suggestions SIZE 43? (uk 9)

Personally, I would say Ebay is the best place for bargains - IF you know the exact size you require for each manufacturer
Example here:

I have bought 2 pairs of Specialized shoes off Ebay for about half price because I was confident that at a size 47 would fit me. However, I wouldn't chance this approach with any other manufacturers unless I had tried them on beforehand. You also have to be prepared to bide your time for a bargain
Otherwise.....Google!!

Im in a similar position really as I already own Specilaized MTB equivalent shoes that fit great but I want to move across to some dedicated road shoes and look pedals now. Have also tried on the Mavic's a while back so I'm safe picking them up online.
Have tried ebay a bit and googled all over the place for a long time but google doesn't always pick up some lesser known sites that people may know about, worth asking on here I thought.0 -

I ran the risk on ebay. Ordered a 46 Sidi to replace my 45 Specializeds.
Worked out! Luckily. Saved around £60 on RRP.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Just got some Northwave Aerators with the carbon sole off ebay for the silly price of £46 - they are the very bling black and chrome ones so will probably spend most of their time under an oversock!Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Here we go. Carbon sole and under £100. It is a 2007 shoe but I'm sure that doesn't make much difference. See to have many sizes as well.

I recently got the same ones Mark. Seemed like a good deal to me. They sure feel like good quality and have a sturdy fibre sole. Big improvement from my previous Shimano SPDs.Shazam !!0

Primera had BG Pros recently. Not sure if they still do.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
