Anyone have any experience of these shoes ? I know they are no longer in production but a few places have them on offer online. Also how did you find the sizing. I take a size 9 in a formal shoe and thought the 10 or 9.5 would be the size I should be considering. I know you should really try on first but lack of availability locally is making online look attractive even if I do have to send them back.

I have the 2008 Adistar Road Pro shoes in white, and whilst they look great and are made really nicely, they have been the most uncomfortable shoes I own.

The main problem for me has been that the the top closure strap (the one that fits into the buckle) and wrap around tongue come up too high. This results in it pushing into the top of my foot where the tendon comes down the front of my shin and meets the top of my foot.

It gets really sore after a while, I have tried pushing the strap down and working the tongue area to soften it, but it always ends up irritating my foot in that position.

I have several other pairs of shoes from Shimano, Sidi and Dromarti that do not cause this at all, so for me at least, these shoes are not great. A shame as they are nice looking and cost me a fair bit.
    Complicating matters since 1965

Have seen them in Ribble and Wiggle for a reasonable price. Thanks for the comment about the comfort. Very important point to consider.
