Hi Mat, There is a new trail center in Cork/Limerick Called the Ballyhoura mountains. http://www.ballyhouramtb.com/pictures/s ... ery-3.html
The forum on this site is not running properly, so use the one i have given below.
There are 5 different trails, rangeing from 6k to 50+k.
There is also a proper car park (5 euro/day), a bike wash (2 euro) and showers.
The trails were built by Dafydd davis who built some of the Welsh trails.
In Co.Cork there is Corrin Wood, which is more of a "ride up and rag down" kind of place, not really XC but once up top, there are a few ways of coming down.
This is a great place to put your question. http://www.mtbireland.com/news.php
Join the forum on here and you will get loads of replys.
Really helpful bunch that know Irelands trails like the back of their hands.
Tell them rusty-b sent you.
I hope this helps, and have a fantastic time over here.
Happy trails,
Rusty.
PS. If the past 2 summers are anything to go by, then bring GOOD WATERPROOFS.You should cut down on your porklife mate, GET SOME EXERCISE0 -
