hello
as iv said in a pervious post i recently bought a fox float rp23 off ebay
its new off a bike and iv noticed alot of oil around the cotrol nobs at the top of the shock. is this normal for a new shock?
i have cleaned the oil off and will check it when i get back if there is more oil there for a possible leak
any ideas about this and if so do i need to send it back to the seller for fixing or can i send it to mojo my self?
thanks

Not normal.
Sounds like it needs a service. You can send it to mojo if you wish, they have a price list on the website.0 -
well i would just hang on a moment and see if the oil reappears if you are going to use it.
but there should not be any normally."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

any ideas?0 -
like i said go use it. it could just be residue from the build."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If you have proof of date of purchase (off your ebay seller) you can send it to mojo and they will sort it free of charge for you....... just done this with my RP20

hello.
although i havent given the shock a long ride i have used it to work a couple of time and today as i opened the shed i found there was a small trail were some oil had run down the upper shock body from the knobs. is this normal for left over build oil. there was still a fair amount of oil just under the knob too which i wiped with a tissue.
i intened to go for a proper ride tomorrow and give it a full testing but should i be concered about this or just wait longer?
sorry but im a bit of a worrie
thanks fo the help0 -
I'd wipe it all off, go for one more ride and if it reappears, send it back.0
