Hey

I got a pair of Fox 32 FR forks with lockout.

I have noticed, which I cant remember if they did it before, this really annoying air sound from the top.

I dont think I have a leak as they still seem ok.

Anything to worry about?

Thanks

Probably, it's more likley to be seals, oil etc in the forks moving around.

If you're really paranoid check the pressure with a shock pump, just remember everytime you connect the pump air from the forks pressurises the pump which in turn lowers the pressure in the forks (air escaping when you disconnect the pump is coming from the pump, not the forks so you don't need to overpump when filling  )
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

some forks breath as they run seal cartridges and there is an open air chamber around them and as the fork opens and closes they "breath".

This might be a better discription

When they are pushed down the are silent, when they release they make the air wooosh sound.

I think I am being dumb

    Thanks guys for the help.

Normal. I would be more worried if they were silent.
