What The hell??

Okay came on this site at the weekend and saw this route over exmoor: http://www.bikeradar.com/routes/?bpath= ... llerford-N

i spent ages writing down the points (i.e WP0268) and directions to turn at these points, what do these points mean as they are not written on the sign posts at all and i cannot find anything on this site about it,

My error? or is the guy who wrote the route just a bit of a TW@T giving out false indications??

    WP= Way point used in GPS.
    Get a map and mark on it in pencil and away you go...
