Cut Gate ?

Anyone know what the conditions are like on the Cut Gate route in the peaks ? Did Mam Tor 7/3/09 and the conditions were good.

EDIT : I mean the riding conditions not the weather :D

    On Mickledon/Cutgate itself it will be OK as there's been lots of repair work.On Margery Hill near the summit cairn it will be boggy as we've had a fair bit of rain.Also around North America farm ruin it will be a bogfest,if you add the Midhope moor section as a return loop back to Mickeldon edge.

    we rode it 3 times in late Jan 1st/2nd time snow/hard frost so it was good 3rd
    time it was a real bogfest on the top :roll:

    Very Hard going in parts but still a fantastic ride out.

    That's one of the repaired bits and its settling in nicely now 8) One of my all time favourite trails.........and only 10 mins from my house 8)
