Does anyone else here observe general unresponsiveness from this site at around the middle part of the evening?

It's a known issue, the development team are working on it.

Several people inc myself have already posted comments about this over the last few weeks. When I posted my comment the system was so slow I hit the Submit button a second time and eventually saw that I has posted twice. I have noticed other duplicate posts around the 9 pm UK time , so I guess my behaviour is not unique.

Given that this has been an issue for a good few months I'm guessing that Future Publishing don't demand the same high standards as they do for other employees when it comes to IT.

Bikeradar would run quicker if Future put file limits on their advertisers and avoid video and Flash content.
