Adjustable riser stems

Any reason not to fit one of these - are they known to be not so strong or anything?

    why would you want to?

    If you have a shopping bike why not.

    why not. heavy and not very strong.

    hi
    i purchased a ritchey adjustable stem ,the reason i have bad back problem and this stem is helping .
    i will eventually go back to my normal stem ,the ritchey stem is well made and the strongest on the market ,even though it is heavey .hope this helps
