    Radstock !!!!!!!
I visited the place for the first time last Monday. I cycled from Bradford-On-Avon to Wookey Hole with some friends and we stopped in Radstock for a coffee.
We chose a large pub in what appeared to be the centre. As we walked through the bar I felt a substantial object underfoot. I had trodden on a large pile of excrement , which was obscured by the grotesquely patterned carpet. We informed the barmaid and she said 'Yes we get a lot of dogs in here'
I am glad I was not wearing cleats.

Im in Bradford On Avon. Ride very close to you on my 65 mile loop to Wells/Cheddar Gorge.

Up for a spin. Rode with Chippenham Wheelers for a while, but they go out early Saturday morning and I tend to like a long ride on a Sunday.

Also have to try the guys in Bath myself. Im a bit of a Johns bike regular....
    :?

Sounds like you need to do the 73 mile saturday tour of wessex ride next month. It goes through all the places you mentioned!
