Independent - 50 Best Cycle Gear

The Independent published a list of 50 best bits of cycle kit on Saturday. Any comments / obvious ommissions???

Things I would have put in there include...
- panniers (i don't use them but wtf - no panniers in the whole list?? :shock: )
- shimano winter shoes
- buff scarf
- airzound horn (used to have one on my MTB and really effective in traffic)
- gore ride on sealed cables (a component rather than kit I suppose but I'm pretty evangelical about these babies...)

go with paniers and since this is a bike 50 not commuting 50, while M+'s are amazing tires if one has a sunday bike it's not really the tire, ie what about a fast tire? or MTB tires etc.0
