Firstly, i keep looseing my peadals !!!! Ive got flats on. ( hope you know what in mean !)
Secondly, I didnt feel like i could get over the back of the bike enough today, could my seat be too high ?
Now this may seam strange, when pedaling hard uphill is it ok to change gear to a higer one ? I get a clunk and a jolt in the peddals, it looses me momentum, wahats the best way to change gear when under load?

Hiya!
Keep your heels down and you won't loose the pedals. Just like stirrups on a horse.
Drop your seat a touch! And don't wear shorts/pants that snag on the seat as you move around.
I change up a couple of gears going uphill if I am going to stand. Lay off the power just as you change gears and it will be smooth, my man!

Some flats aren't very grippy, too... With the OEM pedals on my carrera I had my foot slip off on tarmac once
Whereas with the MG1s I've never had a slip.

1. Loosing Pedals ? Do you feet keep slipping off ?
2. Have you problems in the past "getting over the back of the bike" or was it just today ?
3. You should try and get in to the right gear (if possible) before you start going up the hill. i would imagine (im sure someone will correct me if im wrong) your asking for trouble if you try and change gear whilst pushing hard up a hill - gear slips etc.Boardman Team 09 HT
