Dating a Brooks Saddle?

I have an old oval badged B15.Does anyone here know when the style embossing changed .I have looked on the Brooks history web site but cannot find any information.

It should have the date somewhere on the frame, two year numbers and a month letter, unless they didn't date them in that period.Bikes, saddles and stuff

The change in logo was in the mid 50's. 55 or 56 being the most likely. Certainly prior to '57 as Brooks catalogues use the 'new' logo by that date.
Pre war can be identified by key-slot cut outs, and the B17 having it's saddlebag loops inset into the leather a la Middlemore saddles rather than as part of the frame.0 -
