I want to replace the pads on my FSA Dual Pivot brakes. I have to replace the whole cartridge.

I am looking at either koolstop or swiss stop.

Where is a reliable place to but these complete cartridges from?

A while ago I posted a thread asking for comparisons between the two brands and I found that very few people had tried both of them. Most people had tried one of them and been impressed so they'd stuck with it.

So I did the only sensible thing and tried both myself. I've been through one set of Swissstop green pads already this winter and I'm now a few weeks into a set of Kool Stop salmon pads. This is on a V-brake system rather than cantis/callipers but I'm sure the comparison will be similar.

Obviously I can't judge properly until I finish the current Kool Stop pads but my current impression is that the Kool Stops are both longer lasting and better at stopping, which common sense suggests ought to be impossible, but that's what I'm finding.

So I'd say go for Kool Stop salmon pads and get them from wherever is cheapest.
