The art of moderation is an imprecise science, that's what makes the mods job so tricky. Mr Mod please tell me why my last post got moved?

How was I breaking the forum rules? The rules here are a little too strict in my book.

what had it got to do with MTB's?

    just like this one.

Here's what it had to do with mtbs

I love Battlestar Galactica. It's all about the battle between humans and machines and how through their trials and tribulations they find peace and solace in the universe.

I was merely using this analogy to highlight the present day struggles between cyclists and dog walkers.

I can understand if you think I'm a bad egg whose prime objective is to cause offence.

It's just that a moderator's job is to moderate, not to uphold their point of view, but the policy of Bike Radar's moderation system.

I don't use bad language or insult people. Would you like me to have a banal chat about bikes that ticks your boxes?

That's not the kind of free speech I expected from Bike Radar.

Not understanding another concept that does not offend is in now way a means to move it to an area that is reserved for policy breachers.

You will then also realise that there is some overlap in boundaries.
