Randonneuring in UK

I like the sound of randonneuring, non competitive, long distance etc.. but are there any good rando events in the UK, not sportives, specifically randonneur events i'm after, does any one ride them, and if so are there many held in the UK, are they mainly held by clubs or set up like sportives for anyone to enter?

    mtbhenry888, there are loads of rando events. Have a look here and here. And there're plenty of distances to do, from 50km to 1 500km+.

    I've only done a few of the shorter ones, but I can't imagine that the grub (the scones in particular) on a sportive is any better than an audax.
