Siezed quick release on brakes.
Hi,
when I turn the quick release levers on the brake callipers nothing seems to move apart from the lever.
I`m guessing that it`s due to a lack maintenance on my part, sorry.
The brakes themselves work fine, but I wondered if the callipers can be dismantled, serviced and rebuilt fairly easily.
I`ve tried using loads of WD40 but with no effect.
There are no makers marks on the callipers, so I think they are possibly Tektro. They are on an 08 SCR2.
Thanks for any advice.

Somethings gotta go wrong, `cause I`m felling way too damn good - Nickelback.

Calipers aren't too difficult to take apart but you will need Loctite for reassembly and probably some steel wool and emery paper to clean up the bearing surfaces.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Try undoing it and then squeeze the brake - that should free it off I reckon.0
