Sweet ride you have there, If I had the money I would have also went for the Boardman Team/Pro.
How are the forks? I suppose they are the 2009 version?0 -
Yeah they are the 09's...they're an absolute dream compared to the XCR's on my Commie but that is to be expected.
Dont get out as much as I would like at the moment because im busy with other things but the Reba's are really impressive, might need slightly tweeked for my riding style/weight etc.0 -
out of interest, you had to bleed the brakes atall yet?0

I was looking to get a TEAM sometime this month for £849 but i notice that the PRO has been reduced to £899 so i might stretch to that. My problem is ive also seen the COMP FS bike and now im not sure what to get.........any recomendations ?Boardman Team 09 HT

For the extra £50 I guess the Pro would be a steal, the Team is all the bike I need and then some, great componentry package but the Pro is, as you would expect a step up again. If you need a full-suss you had best have it but if not a hardtail like this is a great way to go.0 -

Nice bike but.......
.....You`ve got to make the piccies smaller dude, It`s like looking through a peep hole.0 -

They appear to be "ridded" on the "alfresco" pic.
Also another one with misaligned tyre/wheel logo combo, it's playing havoc with my OCD dammit!
Nice ride though chap.Pictures are better than words because some words are big and hard to understand.

Of course they are away....
Dont know how to make them smaller but I agree its damn annoying.
Gie yersel peace about the tyres lining up with the wheel logos....like I can be f*cked sorting that out0 -

Don't get the comp FS as it uses a cheap shock that doesn't feel nice, it is plush untill a certain point where it just tries to use up all the travel quickely even when set up well. As for the Pro if it is the 08, they are mostly sold out so you'd be lucky to get one. But if you can go for it, or if it is the 09 then buy it quick! But if not the team is good.

Mmm, liking that very much.
I've been looking at Boardmans myself. Thought I had decided on an 08 Pro (for the colour and spec), but have since found they're going to be really difficult to get hold of.
Although the 09 Pro is within my £1000 budget (cycle scheme) I'm finding myself being drawn to the 09 Team for the colour (and will also leave me a bit of money for pedals).
Is there going to be a noticeable difference between the two? How are you getting on with your Team Stoo61?2010 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon

Just cleaned and polished it and got a hold of my Dads camera, pretty much everything is stock except the Bel Air saddle, Spank Grips (yuck), Panaracer tyres and DMR V8 Pedals. All of which were taken off my Commencal to suit me more. Will upgrade when money comes in.

How did you do the S Meldrum mate? Looks like it's under the laquer but I'm sure that's just the photo0

Think they they are an American company, cheap though. Its no laquered but its very good. Singular lettering (although it all goes on in a oner and you rub it to get it to stick) rather than a sticker and no real sign of wear, I wash it after each ride. I did go over the whole frame with Auto Glym resin, i'm sure that helps. Might not be everyones cup of tea but I really like it.0 -
