First commute of 2009 :-)

Hello all,

well I have just started my new job, and this week was my first week, decided to walk in the first 3 days as I didn't have my own desk, but cycled in yesterday and today, so good to be back on the bike in the morning, especially now the weather is improving, and we have some discernible daylight

Alas my first commute was slightly blighted as when i got down to the bottom of my road, pulled the brakes, and heard a loud 'ping' which transpired to be a bit of the rear v brakes snapping off - a quick inspection revealed that a replacement was required, but I have ridden it in yesterday and today with one brake, and it was fine

New V brake on order from Parkers, hope it will arrive on Saturday.

Anyway, just wanted to say, great to be back, and errr, yeh that's it really 8)
