Computer for turbo trainer

I have an old bike on my turbo trainer and I would love some sort of computer to tell me speed/distance etc. I thought this was just a matter of buying a cheep one but it would appear that the one I've got only sends a signal to a max of 70 cm meaning that it would be out of range to pick up a signal sent from the back wheel... Any ideas or recommendations?

Does cadence and speed off back wheel. Wired. 27 quid.

Blackburn Delphi 3.0 does cadence and speed from the back wheel (wired) and only £17.00 from Parkers :) Blackburn stuff is good.

Yep, I have the Blackburns on a couple of my bikes. The cables are nice and thick and mount on the frame nicely. Computer works well and is great value.

+1 for the strada; I have one on the Summer bike and am very happy with it.

    Thanks for the tip Johnny.

Just ordered one, although they're now £21.75 with free delivery.

    Still a real bargain.. :D

Hi again. My Blackburn 3.0 turned up today and I wondered if you had any tips on setting it up?. I made a bit of a hash of it the last time I tried to fix a cadence sensor. Is it quite easy to do?

    thanks

I bought the Cat Eye Strada and love it - very easy set up...

Thanks to those who pointed me in the direction of it!
