Computer for turbo trainer

I have an old bike on my turbo trainer and I would love some sort of computer to tell me speed/distance etc. I thought this was just a matter of buying a cheep one but it would appear that the one I've got only sends a signal to a max of 70 cm meaning that it would be out of range to pick up a signal sent from the back wheel... Any ideas or recommendations?

Yep, I have the Blackburns on a couple of my bikes. The cables are nice and thick and mount on the frame nicely. Computer works well and is great value.0

+1 for the strada; I have one on the Summer bike and am very happy with it.0

Thanks for the tip Johnny.
Just ordered one, although they're now £21.75 with free delivery.
Still a real bargain..0 -

Hi again. My Blackburn 3.0 turned up today and I wondered if you had any tips on setting it up?. I made a bit of a hash of it the last time I tried to fix a cadence sensor. Is it quite easy to do?

I bought the Cat Eye Strada and love it - very easy set up...
Thanks to those who pointed me in the direction of it!0
