I have recently bought a GT I-Drive 4 1.0 2007 frame, and am looking to get a headset for it.
I emailed GT to ask them which one I need and this was my reply:
Hi Craig,
You'll want a regular IS headet for your bike. Cane Creek, FSA, and Ritchey all make nice ones. It does have a 45 degree bearing race and the dimensions of the bearings should be 42 outside and 30 inside.

Now looking on the net at the usual shops, the headsets normally come with another measurement, like 45x36.
Is 45x36 the 'regular' size as mentioned in GT's email?
