Nice frame, not exactly a full on budget build, LX & X9 ain't to be sniffed at.
Nice to see your favourite fork getting in there0 -
hehe, got the fork for 80 quid new from Wiggle! 4.4lbs with cut steerer, will upto 120mm soon so not a bad weight at all for that considering price.
Most parts came off my old Idrive: lighter wheels and tyres are needed next.0 -
What a l  ker
Are the tora's going to stay on long term? Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -
Toras will stay on, really like them, very stiff for a QR fork. Once wheels are done, might think of getting a 20mm Reba.0

mmmm I gotta get some carbon in my life
I bet you check on it every 5 mins...thats if you let it out of your sight of course!0 -
Everytime I hear a noise in the night, I open the bedroom window and make sure no bugger is trying to break into the conservatory.
Aestetically, the frame fork and cranks are a great match - stealth!0 -

Though you`d get the 20mm fork first being a purveyor of XT hubs. Unless your going to get something like a Hope front hub which you can adjust with spacers.
Oh and bike looks sweet by the way 8)0 -
Hope?! I'd rather cut my nipples off!0

You keep it in the conservatory!? I hope you're not going to keep it there when (if) summer arrives - it's plastic, it'll melt in a hot conservatory!Boardman Road Comp '08

Do the 318s have a notchy feel, or are they as smooth as the rear end
Had any problems with the seals on the solo air?Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -

Well then all your spokes would fall out :S"Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0 -

lol, target weight? i know that there is such a thing as going too light, and i would say 20lbs for that bike with 120mm forks is verging on it!0 -
It's great to see the old bear traps still going SS. Dozens of pairs of them and Shark bites in the shop basement - can't sell 'em bacause they've all got 1/2 inch axles! I'd have an ano purple pair myself otherwise."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

Toras are smooth once bedded in - you can feel a slight click as the air valves work, but have to remember the fork uses the same lowers, seals, bushings and damper as a Qr Revelation.
I don't want to go too light on this one - I have the other Zaskar for that. I want it to be decent weight hardknocks HT yhat can take a bit more than the alu one.0
