Off-road route from home to work - how to find???

Although I have a roady route I can take, I'd like to see if it's possible to find an off-road commute route, I've looked on mapmyrun but unfortunately this does not show me bridleways etc. Are there any other sites I could try before having to buy the O.S maps?
