I got one of these pumps but after I pump my shock up and am removing from the valve a little bit air always seems to escape. Someone told me that the pump has a feature that stops this from happening but i'll be bug*ered if I can find out how this works.
Can anyone shed any light it for me?

Had a look in the FAQ´s?
it is nothing to worry about and you do not need the feature as it is only the air from the pump not the fork or shock."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Hold the barrel that goes onto the shock and unscrew the knurled ring above it, thus pulling the core away from the valve0
