I quite like pasta, with maybe a little cheese. Or chicken breast, and raw carrot and houmous. Its really nice.

    Soon, you'll be addicted

Rice with chicken, vegetables and home made sauce
Chicken and pasta with mushroom soup for sauce
Baked potatoes with your choice of filling (tuna and mayonnaise is awesome)
Home made egg fried rice (delicious)

Just experiment. Most of my pre-ride recipes come from choosing a good carbohydrate source (rice, pasta, potato) then playing about with whatever else I can find until I come up with something that tastes nice.

Simple and disguting sounding, but i love it(and it's cheap(also have been eating it for avout 4 years(not every day))

    Pasta, salad cream, cheese 8)

P.s word to the wise, eat some meat or beans otherwise you'll feel like you're trying to dump a rugby ball sideways

P.p.s low washing up ratio :(

I just eat as normal (never later than 1900), have a small nibble when I get up then fuel for the ride in question (Torq, banana(s), jaffa cakes, fig rolls etc). Oh, and the occasional Mars bar

    I just ride - I don't race.

While your brown (yeah right) pasta is cooking , fry a couple of cloves of garlic with a couple of slices of a fresh chilli. Add some passata and heat for a couple of minutes. As pasta is ready (in the case of wholemeal pasta that'll be next week) add a glug of vodka to the sauce and keep on the heat. When pasta is drained add a tablespoon of double cream to the sauce and heat gently for a few seconds (don't let the cream separate). Then mix in with the pasta - its a winner.
