Hi all, I'm looking to get an Orbea Orca this summer for Sportives and possibly racing. Does anyone have one? If so, how is it?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi, I have an Orca, had it since last August and I am very impressed.
Can only really compere it my Specialized Roubaix, the geometry on the Orca is more 'racey' , the Roubaix is slightly more upright. The Orca is much more responsive, seems to be more sure footed round corners and is a great bike for climbing.
I would recommend speaking to Chris at Epic Cycles regarding the Orca, fantastic service.0 -
That almost looks like mine!
Superb ride, feels alive! Test rode a wilier izoard also at epic much prefer the orca. Also its truely beautiful IMO.It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.0 -
Agreed, in black and white one of the best looking bikes around, local dealer stocks Orbea, I regularly stop to look, (The boss would have a fit if I bought one).
Interesting to hear the comparison with the Roubaix, I read a US report a while back suggesting it wasn't too good for heavy riders, please tell me this isn't so.
I don't want one though, really I don't,........I don't ............I h8te you!0 -

Can't really comment on if an Orca is suitable for heavy riders as I only weigh 9.5 stones!0 -
Thanks for the feedback guys (and sorry for long time between replies - have been away).
Yeah, it would be from Epic Cycles as Chris is really helpful. I've been in love with this bike for some time now. Just gonna try and save enough moola and make some room in the shed, oh and convince my fiance why its so vital that I get this bike despite the fact that we are saving for our wedding. Ahem.0 -
I got the Onix in December and can't praise it highly enough. Really pleased with it for £850 frame and forks.
Blue and black is lovely too."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
