Broken spoke :-(

Time for a new wheel(set)?
Classic failure, left spoke on my well hammered rear wheel (a ubiquitous WH-R500). I was certainly glad to know I had a spoke key in my tool bag!
Though I'll definitely be after a nice handbuilt set for touring, the hub is still sweet (if the rim is a bit poked) so with a new rin and spokes a fun weekend project ... ?
ps. To the dude on the silver triandrun who passed me stricken without so much as a acknowledgement of my existence - You suck!!

Fun if you can build wheels!
For me ,sounds more like a weekend of anger, frustration scratches and a hub launched as far as my weedy arms will take it (about 4 feet)
EDIT: Oh and about the cost of 4 new wheel sets in bent spokes broken tools etc etc :roll:winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg
