My budget top end is £350 and i was originally going to have a muddy fox probably due to the fact they were once good but i have heard they aint anymore.
The bikes i was looking at are the !!

Carrera Krakken
Carrera Banshee
Carrera Vulcan
Felt Q520 or Q220
There is a few now after adding up the pro's and cons any help would be appreciated cheers people.

Have you had a look at the stickies near the top of this forum? You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
Yeah I have been going through them but i guess its just down to personal preference plus my list of bikes I want is growing by the day.
thanks for the reply.0 -
Not the Banshee, it's actually not as bad as some people think but it's a total tank. The Kraken is a storming buy for £350, I have one and it's really surprisingly good. Though the tyres are heavy and rubbish, which is a shame, it does hold the bike back. And like all rubbish tyres they never wear out!Uncompromising extremist0

FAs above, avoid the banshee if you are planning just general trail and xc riding. I'd avoid the Felts too - pretty poor value compared to the others.0
