Autumn Epic 2009 - open!

Just a quick note to say that the on-line entry system for the Autumn Epic 2009 is now open at http://www.cyclosportives.co.uk/epicHome.htm Apologies if you already know...
The fifth Autumn Epic will take place on 4th October, with the same route as in 2008 as the rider feedback was so good - we were delighted that the Epic was ranked number one UK sportive by riders at Cyclosport.org for the second year in a row!. It will of course be very different in character though if the rains are anything less than biblical in proportion...
We are keeping the organisational side of the event pretty much unchanged too, as all of the new developments, such as hot food at the finish, went down so well in 2008...and stood up to some severe tests, courtesy of the weather.
The entry limit will be kept to 1100, as in 2008 - because the event comes at the end of the season it tends to fill more steadily than other earlier events, but hundreds of riders left it too late in both 2007 and 2008 as we still sold out months ahead. Once again, we will not be operating a reserve list, so please do enter in good time if you plan to ride.

Best ride of 2008. And 2007, and 2005 for that matter. Didn't ride in 2006 but I bet it was a good one
