SCR 1 - Rack? £650 a good deal?

My local bikeshop has an SCR1 for sale for £650 (down from £850). It's pretty tempting, since it's got a better spec than the Defy 2.5 I went in to have a look at, but I need a rack for commuting; the SCR seems to have holes in the right places - has anyone put one on? Another thread confirmed that it can take some mudguards, so that'd be sorted.
Cheers,
James

The SCR frame is the same for the whole model range. I've seen a couple of SCR's fitted with a rack, so you shouldn't have any trouble fitting one.
It sounds like a damn good price too. I'd definitely buy one instead of the new Defy series.

Sure stick the boot in why don't you?
Serioudly you may be able to use the Wiggle price (£625 +£50 of accessories) to get a bit more from your LBS

Sure, jinx me why don't you If the bike's still in the shop tomorrow I'll take it for a spin and hopefully get it. Thanks Pedro & DDD for clarifying the rack situation.0 -
