Tyres for sportives and training

Hi all
I know this question was asked fairly recently and I have searched the forum.
However, my question is, do you guys use slicks or lightly treaded tyres for sportives? Are they your expensive race ones, or some more durable training ones?
Any suggestions would be welcomed, as I need a pair for the coming months.
(Will also be touring Croatia later in the year - but don't mind buying specific tyres for that jaunt. However, if someone recommends a tyre that is durable enough for that aswell, double points!)
Thanks

Winter sportives, commuting and touring: Schwalbe Stelvio Plus
Summer sportives: Michelin Pro 3 Race0 -
I use Specialized All Conditions Pro's all year round, and I do light touring on them, they are light, roll fast, but extremely tough, shrug off flints and glass, never punctured in 8000 miles over 2 sets. For heavy (i.e. fully loaded with camping gear) touring I use something with more volume - Schwalbe Marathons.0

I use Pro Race 3 all year around, that is commuting, club runs, sportives, time trials, and even a little racing.
Only had one puncture, and that was due to a f-ing big hole in the road.0 -
