Ok this is a quick but daft question so please no 'what a thicko' comments.
Im buying a new crankset and BB however the only availible size is 73mm and my BB shell is 68, will this fit at all or would i need to get a seperate new BB?
Thanks
David

Ok just to add to that:
The cranks are 2007 saints, the BB suplied looks suspiciously like my current race face x-type BB for my evolve XC cranks. Is My race face BB compatable or will the axle length be wrong e.t.c
Thanks again

68/73 are the same. you read the manual and see that you need to use the included spacers. or not."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Brilliant, thanks Nick, i think it was just one of my thick moments  .
Do you know if they are compatible with my current BB then? If so i can save a bit of money

what bb do you have now then?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Race face X-type
I wouldnt think it should work but it look exactly the same in design as the one for sale.

it will work but you may need a small spacer ..... can remember which has the thicker bearings."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Nick
So it will definetly work as long as i have the right spacer?
So it would be worth saving £20+ then finding the right sized spacer?
I have a few old spacers from other x-type BBs, are they likly to be ok?
Sorry for all the questions!
Thanks for the help
