Best tyres for commuting

Fwiw, last winter, I ran 25 Contis GatorSkins for the commute, then, for the weekend rips round Richmond Park, I used 23 normal Contis. The wheels were the same. I really noticed the difference on the hills, when I got out of the saddle and went for it.
I've got to buy some new tyres and am probably going to ot for the 25s because of the extra resistance, and keep the 23s for Sunday Best. (God, I'm sad.)FCN 2-4.
"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"

I originally had conti contact sport on the hybrid but after a couple of visits from the fairy and tyres that where quite badly cut up within the first 100 miles that has put me off contis. I am sure that the have some very good tyres but for whatever reason I am a schwalbe fan the noo.
Hey you are no sad, just very keen0 -
Schwalbe marathons - faster and better handling than the plus - I run mine (26 x 1.5) at around 60psi - previous tyres had at least one puncture a week in spite of kevlar strip - I've run these on the same routes for 3 months without a sing visit from the PF - Oh sh*t - do you think she heard that ? :oops:0
