Stupid Question Alert...

Hiya,

Just a quick (and quite possibly stupid) question - I have heard people mention various planned routes or maps, often for time trial routes etc, that have a 'V number' like V123 or something similar. I presume the three digit number is the number of the route. I don't know where to find these maps/routes or who produces them.

Any clues?

Many thanks :D

The numbers refere to the actual courses, V is for Yorkshire.

You can get information on courses from http://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/, just go to Event and then Courses, it has a list of all the courses with the course numbers.

Thanks for your help - now just have to wait for the weather to sort itself out before I use them. Got snowed on today while 40 miles from home.... doh...
