PIKE 409/426

I have a set of 409's on my hard tail and 426's on my Full Sus.
I am bottoming them both out with out all that much effort on some of the bigger drops so I think it's time to upgrade my springs.
Was going to go firm on my HT and XFirm on the FS.
I have absolutely no knowledge of fork servicing/upgrade process so before I dive into the big blue book, any one got first hand experience of the procedure?
Also best place to pick up the springs online?
Cheers.

not too bad to do but you may as well do a full service at the same time.

Yeah checked out the tech guide need to strip it down bottom end as well to change the springs so need to to re lube and all the good stuff. Not going to happen out here in Cyprus so will gave to be LBS job back in the UK in a few months. Getting any Lubes/greases here is impossible or to expensive grrrrrrr0

It's dead easy and you don't need too much grease, can't you just buy a tube from a local DIY shop, Lithium or Teflon based will do.
It took me about 30 minutes in all, inc. removing & re-fitting the fork.
BTW how heavy are you as Firm is ideal for 12.5 to 14st according to TF tuned0
