Morning everyone,

I have held out on buying a bike computer, and was wondering about the different options and need some advice on spec.

Is it better to have a computer cadence or a heart rate monitor? or both?
I am training for triathlon, as well as general fitness.

And then in the end should I hold on and wait to get a GPS combined unit.

My budget is about £80 at the moment, but can hang ot get something a bit better later on.

Thanks

    HR yes. Cad optional.

If you want it for Tri I would suggest that you go for a watch style unit so that you can wear it for the swim/run.

I bought a Polar CS300 (Watch) - got it for £100 of Amazon and love it. You can add Cad to it but obviously not GPS
