when i was younger and first got into biking the zaskar was my dream bike, i remember seeing jes avery i think it was riding one. then my cousin got one and i was jealous cos i could't afford one... :x ha ha

That's a good looking bike sonic and i bet it was a great ride too and i just love those frame designs as they look solid and purposeful 8) .

She needs rebuilding now lol, is in several pieces! Hoping to put rigid carbon forks on it.

So have you been using bits off it for your other bikes or is it the case that you took parts off it to replace with new ? and i take it the idea of putting rigid carbon forks on is so it's lighter for XC or commuting then ? .

Chopping and changing really, sold the forks. It will be a XC/commuter cross sort of thing now.

Oh! i see , it will be interesting to see how you get on with it and how it handles with rigid although the carbon forks are suppose to be pretty good at soaking up the shock from rough trails but i personally wouldn't know from experience lol .
