Single, although after a few rides they go shiny silver too0

Multi here0

Singles.
But then I've been using them for twenty years or more. Beginners should use Multis without a doubt.0 -

Singles for me. Pesonally think you should stick with whichever you learnt with. If you learn with multi`s you will need to learn again if switching to single`s and likewise switching from singles to multi`s.0

single for me to with the with the spring tension as tight as it go's,Ive been using spuds since i was about 17 (now 32).my mate has just started using them an all i said to do was keep the spring tension loose but not to loose as you don't want to come UN-clipped by accident and you soon get the hang of it0

if I still used SPDs, then definitely single - multis come out when you pull up on the pedals, or bunny hop.0

I use singles for road and multi for off road. The only difference I find is the release angle is more forgiving on multi release, otherwise they perform as well as each other.0

Why not just buy a pair of Shimano M520 pedals for £19.99 with free SH51 single release cleats? :?

I'm up to 3 sets now (along with lots of older models!), makes much more sense than buying cleats0 -
Aways used singles as that is what came with the 1st gen SPDs I got and what I've been used to.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
