I joined a few weeks ago but didnt announce my arrival!!
I'm a complete newbie to the MTB scene. Got myself a cheapo bike last year (GT Avalanche 3 disc) in Sept to see if I liked the sport, and I seem to have gotten the bug for it. Love riding the trails local to me which are very steady but got over to FtD at the Cannock Chase and really enjoy it. A few mates have got full sus bikes so I decided to get upgraded. Got my Trek 2 weeks go and its awesome, so much better than the GT in every dimension, its much faster even when on the flat I can hardly believe how much better it could be. Looking forward to trying out some more trails around the Uk this summer. Any recommendations of where to ride are appreciated.
