Lots of races dropping off. To be expected in the current climate but it's not good. Races which go away don't tend to come back, do they?

    No they don't - really disappointed to hear this. Seems to be a lot of the Spanish races - would be intesting to know why that is, considering that Spanish cycling is flying higher than at any time since Indurain.

    Spanish "miracle" economy seems to be more like a Derren Brown style "miracle" at the moment so I think the money sources are drying up fast.

    It's very sad as I watched some of last years race and it was pretty good.
