I have a Scott Reflex 50 and the front suspension has seized solid. Other than that it is in excellent condition. Is this bike any good?
The question is, should I replace the suspension or should I just get a new bike?
The reason for the question is I am going to do the Trans Pennine Trail in June.

Decent new forks can be had from 100 quid - will be an improvement on what it had too.0

For 'proper' mountain biking it will have it's limitations but for a blast round the local woods it will be okay with a cheap set of forks.0

Thing is a Tora is a proper fork, I'd certainly get one, will turn into a good bike!0

I dismantled my forks yesterday and they were solid. Springs rusted through and what looked like sand and dirt inside them so went out and bought a new bike, got a GT Aggressor XC 3 from Halfords. Lets hope this one lasts longer

Had my first ride on the new bike today. Didn't realise just how bad my Scott was. This thing seems to make it so easy to ride. What I thought was hills before just disappeared and I few up them. Now the owner of a GT Aggressor XC 30
